Sorting is a powerful tool that can help you organize and prioritize your data in Notion. One common task is to sort pages or database entries by date, which can be especially useful if you want to view or manage your data chronologically. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps for sorting pages or database entries by date in Notion.
To begin, open the Notion page or database that you want to sort. This can be a page or database within your workspace or a shared database.
Select the "Sort" button at the top right of the database view. This will open the "Sort" menu, which allows you to specify how you want to sort the pages or database entries.
In the "Sort by" field, select the property that you want to sort the pages by. In this case, we want to sort the pages by date, so we will select the appropriate date property. This could be the "Created" property to sort the pages by the date they were created, or it could be a custom date property that you have added to the page or database.
In the "Sort order" field, you can specify whether you want to sort the pages by ascending or descending date.
Once you have selected the property and sort order that you want to use, click the "Save for everyone" button to apply the sort. The pages or database entries will be rearranged in the order specified.
