Notion has just released a neat new feature in its latest 2.20 update: page analytics. For the Notion creators out there--this is a big win that will let you get a better view on how specific templates are performing.

For teams and managers, this feature can help you gain some better insight into how active some pages, workspaces and events are within your Notion hub.

Here's a quick tutorial on how to access this new Notion page analytics feature.

How To View Notion Page Analytics

  1. Navigate to the Notion page of interest that you want to view the analytics for.
  2. Click on the three-dot menu located in the top-right corner of the page.
  3. Scroll down the menu and select 'Page Analytics'.
  4. Select 'View Analytics' in the 'Page Analytics' section to open the analytics window.
  5. In the 'Analytics' tab, you can view the page views, and you can also toggle between the date ranges.
  6. In the 'Updates' tab, you can view the changes that have been made to the page, who made them, and when.

Use Cases

Here are some ways you can use Notion page analytics:

  • Track the performance of your personal or company blog pages
  • See how often a meeting agenda or notes page is accessed
