Private Pages

A valuable feature in every user's workspace is the Private section. Pages added here are only visible to you, not to other people in your workspace. This offers an ideal space for individual tasks, notes, or any work that you want to refine before sharing with others.

How to Create a Private Page

1. Navigate to the Private section in your sidebar.
2. Click on the '+ Add a page' option. This will automatically create a new private page.
3. You can now name the page and begin adding content.

Remember, since the page is private, only you will be able to view and edit it. You can work on your thoughts, ideas, or tasks here without others having access to them until you decide to share the page.

Moving a Page to the Private Section

If you've already created a page elsewhere in your workspace and wish to move it to the Private section:

2. Click the ••• icon at the top right corner of the page and select 'Move to'.
3. In the window that pops up, select 'Private pages' and click 'Move'. The page will now be moved to your private section and will only be visible to you.

Converting a Private Page to a Shared Page

If you decide to share a private page with others:

1. Open the page you want to share.
2. Click the 'Share' button at the top right of the page.
3. From the menu that appears, click 'Add people' or 'Add groups'.
4. Type in the name or email of the person or group you want to share the page with.
5. Once you've added all the people or groups, click 'Invite'. The private page is now shared with the people or groups you specified.

Remember, once you share a private page, it will move to the 'Shared' section in your sidebar. To unshare the page and move it back to the Private section, simply click on the ••• icon next to the page in the sidebar, and then click 'Leave'.
